Susanne Wolfgramm

 I was born in the beautiful castle town of Brühl near Cologne and grew up there also.

After living in Erftstadt for about eight years and in Hürth for about twenty years, I now live again in the beautiful castle town of Brühl with my son and my remaining three dogs.
For more than twelve years I enjoyed spending a lot of time in my beloved weekend house in the beautiful Eifel.

After graduating from high school in 1986, I completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk. This was followed by further courses in the banking sector and I worked in this profession for many years.

Some time after the birth of our son, however, I turned my back on the financial world.

At about the same time our first two huskies, Ijuma and Laycka, entered our lives. In the end, ten huskies lived with us. How it came to this is another story and would go beyond the scope here.

Since writing and languages have been my passion since childhood and inspired by my huskies, I decided to write a book. I fondly remember the time when mine was today

20-year-old son was still a little boy and I always read to him for hours in the evenings. So it was clear that it should be a children's book with my Abby as the heroine. In addition, it was and is important to me that the stories I tell convey certain values to the children and also entertain the adult readers.

My second children's book tells the story of little T-Rex Tom. I came up with this story years ago for my 4-year-old junior. The story always gave my son a lot of joy and I had to tell him over and over again.

At the end of November 2016, the second part of "A Husky Girl Called Abby" - Abby saves young and old - was published.

In June 2018 the third part "Abby and the Labradors" followed. In this volume I take up the subject of animal welfare.

After a two year hiatus, during which I gave many readings, I now proudly present "A Husky Girl Called Abby" - The Return of the Wolves. Here I take up the current wolf problem and illuminate it in many facets in a child-friendly form. It is my attempt to bring the wolves a little closer to the children.

Then, in February 2021, the first volume of my children's book series was translated into English. The title in English is: "Adventurous Abby" - A Daring Young Dog
